Chris and Quentin matched on an app called Bumble after reading each other's profile in November of 2020. When they both "swiped right" there were literal FIREWORKS that appeared on the screen with a countdown letting each of them know just how long they had to message one another before the match expired. After striking up conversation and planning their first date, they decided to meet face to face. During the height of COVID-19, dating was a little different, but they didn't let that stop them. Their first date was amazing and both of them knew that this was going to blossom into much more. After their first date, they continued to spend time together every chance they could get and bonded over their love of music, family, art, hobbies, and life goals. Chris met Quentin's children (Sterling and Aurora) after they both realized that their love for each other was something more real than either of them could have ever imagined. Chris accepted the kids into his life as if they were his own and has continued to love them unconditionally each and every day, proving that it doesn't take blood to make someone a real father. Like all couples, they've faced their good times and bad times, but have stuck by each other's side through it all. The love that they share is unconditional, magical, inspiring, and true. This love is what prompted Quentin to propose to Chris (after months of planning) on August 6th, 2023 at Edisto Beach, SC surrounded by their family and friends. It was a truly beautiful moment that both of them will cherish forever. Their love for each other has continued to grow, as well as the love and support they've received from those close to them. Chris and Quentin are very excited to be sharing this commitment to each other with the people that they care about most. They both look forward to spending their lives together, all while building heartfelt memories along the way. 💚💙
