We met in May of 2022. How, you may ask? Yes, it was through a dating app. Shoutout to Bumble! Our first date was at Bo Mac's in Cedar Rapids, the best restaurant ever (shoutout to Bo Macs and their happy hour.) We quickly bonded over our hatred for the Iowa Hawkeyes, anyone that knows us knows that is something that is necessary if a relationship is going to last the long haul!!! That summer we spent almost every weekend together. Only about three months after we first met we decided to move in with each other, and by September of 2022, we lived together here in Lansing, Iowa. We have a lot in common between our sense of humor, our big hearts, our love for sports, our competitiveness (this one can be tricky,) our love for our dogs, and most importantly our values and how we feel about each other. The past few years have been full of laughs, growth, and love, and we can't imagine a life without each other. We have two of the best and most perfect dogs (no, we are not biased) and despite being complete opposites they love each other so much and we don't think they could imagine life without each other either. We cannot wait to officially start our lives together and build a life that we are proud of.
