What is a vintage 1920s style?

The Art Deco movement emerged in the early 1920s and lasted until the outbreak of WWII in 1939. This period of time is referred to as the "breath of fresh air taken between the smoke of World War I and World War II and The Great Depression."


1920's-1930's was a decade that saw economic growth, widespread prosperity, and intellectual liberation. Fashions trends were elegant, timeless, glitzy, glamorous, and luxurious!

The most notable roaring 1920s fashion trend for women was the flapper style. However, 1920 fashion history includes many style changes.

We aren't necessarily aiming for the "Gatsby" flapper style in our wedding party (but if you find a garment in that style you love - go for it!) Our inspiration for this wedding theme came from the TV Show Peaky Blinders.
