I was on a spring break beach trip with my church when Camille and I met. I first noticed her while I was playing volleyball on the beach one night. She was walking past the court and stood out because she had a huge smile and was wearing a camo hoodie. Camille and I were introduced a couple nights later at the shrimp boil that we had on the last night. I was immediately interested in getting to know her and even decided to stay a couple extra days even though I was originally supposed to leave the next day. Over the next couple days I quickly became friends with Camille and her group of friends. Over the next year I saw how kind and caring Camille was to her friends and all those that she was around. Almost one year from the day we met I finally worked up the courage to ask her out to dinner. We went on several dates those following few weeks. It was very clear that she was very special and I quickly asked her to be my girlfriend. Over the next two years we grew closer and shared many memories from driving 18 hours to see Auburn in the Final 4, to killing an 8 point at the farm 45 minutes before we were supposed to be at a New Years eve party. Through all of this I have seen Camille's deep love for the Lord and amazing ability to care for everyone she comes in contact with. I have no doubt she will make the best wife! - Quinn

On November 21, 2018 Quinn told one of our friends that he had been praying about asking me on a date, but little did he know that I had been praying that exact day if it was the Lord's will for us to be together that He would give Quinn the confidence to do something! This began what is now an (embarrassingly) long prayer journal for my feelings for Quinn, who he is, ups and downs of our relationship, and the strong and kind leader that the Lord has made him to be. We first met on our church spring break trip "Amplify" our Sophomore year of college at Auburn University, and while Quinn instantly became friends with many of my friends, it took us a while to warm up to each other. A lot of our friends began joking about us dating and I did not want to make this new boy any more uncomfortable- although, I did think he was really cute. By the time November came around that year, I was frustrated and asked the Lord that if this relationship was not in His plan, that He would take away those desires in my heart. Thankfully, my prayers were answered as this was indeed part of His plan. It was evident to me that the Lord hears our prayers and truly does care about the desires of our hearts. Finally, on February 6, 2019 Quinn Strong asked me on a date. On March 7, 2019 he asked me to be his girl friend. AND on February 20, 2021 he asked me to be his WIFE!!! While our relationship has never been perfect, it has been a constant reminder of the Lord's faithfulness and sovereignty in our lives. We have learned and grown so much over the last two years, and are so excited to begin this next chapter of marriage! Thank you, Lord. We are so thankful! - Camille
