If you don't have 2-3 days to visit the Sahara desert in Merzouga, I would highly recommend spending a night in the Agafay desert located less than an hour away from Marrakesh.

If you're looking to visit the coast while in Morocco, this is a great option! Tangier is also an option as it's close to Spain for those traveling to Europe as well

Blue city in the Rif Mountains. One of my favorite spots. Its beauty is simple yet captivating. known for the striking, blue-washed buildings of its old town. Leather and weaving workshops line its steep cobbled lanes. Worth a day trip in my opinion

Sahara Desert- No trip to Morocco is complete without visiting the Sahara Desert! If you have an extra 2-3 days, I would suggest booking a road trip package from Marrakesh to Merzouga. This tour usually stops at a few other cities like Ouarzazate and the famous Dades Valley. I've attached an itinerary example. If you're constrained on time but still want to explore the desert, Agafay Desert is an hour away from Marrakesh and is a respectable option as well.
