Boston Logan Airport is the closest international airport to Salem, MA. A rental car center is available on site.

We have chosen not to secure hotel blocks for our guests as there are several hotel options in and around Salem. Depending on your budget and preferred mode of transportation, we recommend searching for and selecting a hotel that suits your needs and travel plans best.
Surrounding towns that have hotel options include Beverly, Peabody, Danvers, Woburn, Lynnfield, and Boston.
AirBnB
Salem has many airbnb options to choose from! Be sure to book early as Salem is a popular tourist destination.
MBTA
The MBTA or "the T" is Boston's subway system and serves the city of Boston and immediate surrounding neighborhoods. You can access Boston from the airport via the blue line. However, in order to access Salem via public transportation, see the commuter rail information.
North Station (MBTA) Commuter Rail
Salem is accessible by Boston's commuter rail system (purple line) (MBTA). North Station is on the green and orange T lines. From Boston's North Station, take a scheduled commuter rail train to Salem. The Hawthorne Hotel is a 10 minute walk from Salem's train stop. See schedules at www.mbta.com/schedules to plan your trip.
Logan Express Danvers
The Logan Express is a bus service that transports passengers to and from Logan Airport to the surrounded Greater Boston suburbs and can be an easy option to get to and from the airport and the North Shore. Danvers is the closest Logan Express drop off location to Salem. Salem is a 15 minute drive from Danvers. Book your logan express tickets ahead of time (online purchase is cheaper) and be mindful of the bus schedule.
Uber/Lyft
Uber and lyft are popular modes of transportation in the Greater Boston Area and always an option for getting around.

Church Parking
Front (Hawthorne Blvd) and side entrances are available.
The parking lot is located on the side of the Church.
Handicap parking near the side entrance in the parking lot
Chapel and hall entrances are located in the side parking lot.
Hawthorne Hotel
There are two parking lots located on Essex Street, behind the hotel. We recommend entering "98 Essex Street, Salem MA" if using GPS. Parking is free and available on a first come, first served basis. If unable to find a space, please pull up in front of the hotel and alert a front desk team member. They will be able to offer you temporary, alternative parking until a spot in the lot opens up. We do provide a number of accessible spaces for those with a visible disability placard.
