Michael and I have gone to school together since 4th grade. Michael sat across from me at lunch every day for almost 4 years. He always walked past me between our 1st and 2nd period classes and never failed to say "hello."

We talked the whole summer of 2014 and realized in September that we had actual feelings for each other. On September 27, 2014, Michael drove 6 hours from Knoxville to Memphis to ask me to be his girlfriend in person, and obviously I said yes! Our first date was at the Orpheum in Downtown Memphis to see "The Phantom of The Opera", which followed after a lovely dinner at the now-closed (sad face) Spaghetti Warehouse.

Michael lived in Knoxville while attending the University of Tennessee while I stayed home in Memphis attending the University of Memphis. We did long distance for our freshman and sophomore years of college, but we tried to see each other at least once a month, whether it was me driving to Knoxville for the weekend or him driving to Memphis. I decided for my bachelor's degree, I wanted it to be in Kinesiology, and lucky me! The University of Tennessee had Kinesiology as a bachelor's program. I worked hard my sophomore year at Memphis and eventually got accepted to UTK and moved there in the Fall of 2016 to begin the rest of my college career.

Michael and I have been together ever since. We are always looking for new adventures, including LOTS of traveling! I am always planning something for us to do, and he always says "yes"......well, most of the time. Together, we have been to:

We cannot wait to travel to Honolulu, Hawaii for our Honeymoon!
