Please enter the front door of Old Central Church. There is an Old Central Church sign and steps leading up to the door.
Please note, no wedding events will be taking place in the mansion itself.
Where is everything going to be?
Everything will take place at Jacob Henry. The ceremony will be in Old Central Church, cocktail hour in the gathering room, and reception in the ballroom. All three of these locations are connected so once you're there, you're there!
What's the parking situation?
If you prefer to drive yourself, parking is widely available and free at Jacob Henry. There is a parking lot on the Richards St. side of the building, as well as a separate lot on Eastern Ave. Though both are perfectly fine, we suggest using the Richards St. parking lot because it's closer to the church entrance.
Is there a coat check?
There will be a place to hang coats but no coat attendant.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We kindly ask everyone to keep their phones put away during the ceremony. We want to make sure our photographer can get the best shots possible without interference from screens and/or flashes.
Can I bring my kids?
To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that no children attend our celebrations.
What is the dresscode?
The wedding dress code is formal/cocktail. Feel free to wear cocktail dresses and suits!
Will there be an open bar?
Duh
What time does the reception end?
10:30 pm!
Will there be provided transportation to and from the hotels?
Yes! There will be two shuttle buses - one designated for the TownePlace Suites and one designated for Home2 Suites. Guests at each hotel will have two opportunities to catch a bus to Jacob Henry before the ceremony. The first bus departs at 2:45 and the second departs at 3:20. Additionally, starting at about 8:30 pm, buses will be outside the venue for guests who wish to depart and will continue for the rest of the night. The last buses depart Jacob Henry at 10:45 pm.
