It all began in July 2020, when fate brought us together at a conference. Over the years, our paths continued to cross as friends, meeting in different cities for work and reconnecting during visits to D.C. What started as a friendship grew into something deeper when, three years later, in July 2023, we decided to take a chance on "us."

Our first date was serendipitously during the same annual conference where we first met—a perfect full-circle moment. Since then, the last year and a half have been an incredible adventure filled with joy, laughter, and love. From Texas two-stepping and rock climbing to savoring new foods, dancing at concerts, and sharing picnics in the sunshine, we’ve built a life full of cherished memories.

The first nine months of our relationship were long-distance—Rachael in Dallas, and Calvin in D.C.—but those miles only made us stronger. Today, we’re grateful that life brought us closer together. Rachael living with her sister in D.C. has been a dream come true, allowing us to attend church together and experience the endless wonders of the city as a couple.

We’re so excited to celebrate the next chapter of our story with you, surrounded by the love of our closest family and friends. We pray that our marriage will be a beautiful reflection of our Christian faith, embodying the love, grace, and sacrifice of Christ, and serving as a living testament to the transformative power of the Gospel.
