Our Wedding

Boy meets girl. They fall in love. Happily ever after. Okay not quite. Boy and girl go to the same high school. They have mutual friends but never interact much. Boy goes to Kent State, girl goes to Ohio State. They act stupid and they get smart. Boy is now a man and moves to Colorado looking for adventure. The adventure turns mundane and he comes back to Cleveland, Ohio because home is where the heart is. Girl is now a woman and she's been busy earning her doctorate in Columbus. BOOM. Pandemic happens. Woman moves home to Chesterland because her waitressing job is a goner with everything closed. Man and woman are isolated in parallel. They get bored and each download a dating app. 12 hours after downloading, a perfect match is made. Their first date is perfect. So is their second. And third. Woman loves man. She patiently waits for him to say it first. He finally admits it. Then they cant stop saying it. Man and woman are wildly in love. Woman moves in with man. Man and woman buy the house they fell in love in. Man and woman go on adventures, falling deeper in love daily. Every day better than the last. On their greatest adventure to date, man gives woman a ring he bought 6 months earlier. Woman has been waiting for this since the moment they met. So has the man. Man and woman invite all their closest friends and family to celebrate their journey. And they all lived happily ever after. BUT FIRST: LET'S PARTY!

Where do we park for the reception?   Carpooling is encouraged but there will be plenty of space to park. Please park at 13005 Cassie Lane in the far back pasture/field and follow the signs through the woods or walk the street to the main event!   (Friends familiar with our home: Please park at the Cooper's and follow the lantern path on over to the party!)   What should I wear?   Official dress code: Garden Party   Things to consider: - Ceremony & Reception will both have lots of grass and uneven surfaces. Stilettos and high heels are not recommended. Flats and sandals will be best. - We can't predict the weather so check out the forecast and bring a rain coat if appropriate - Make sure you can get down in it, because you will be expected on the dance floor!       Which events should I attend?   Due to the ceremony venue's guest limitations, the ceremony is a closed event and by invitation only. Because space was limited, we are excited to encourage guests to grab a drink at the welcome party on Friday night at Sol in Willoughby and then join us for the reception on Saturday evening.     Why are the registry items from all different sites?   Rachael is a passionate Etsy enthusiast and worked hard to ensure gifts would support small businesses and struggling artists. She has collaborated and many of the artists are graciously creating custom art just for Kyle & Rachael to celebrate their marriage (how cool!) It may appear an eclectic bunch of items, but all were carefully selected. Procrastinators beware: Etsy ship times are not overnight like 'The Corporation Who Shall Not Be Named'. Thank you for helping small businesses stay afloat and supporting artists who deserve the recognition.     Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?   Rain or shine, Kyle and Rachael are avid outdoor creatures. The ceremony will be outside; dress accordingly.     Can I take pictures during the ceremony?   Kyle & Rachael kindly ask that you refrain from photos during the ceremony. Their photographer, Allison, is one of the most talented wedding photographer's on the market and is going to do an amazing job, let's leave capturing the perfect moment to her! Keep your phone in your pocket/purse and be present for their special day.     Is there parking available at the ceremony?   Of course! Don't sweat it.     Are children invited to the wedding?   Sorry kiddos, it's mom and dad's night out! Book a sitter and treat yourself to an evening of adults-only time to yourself!     Will there be an open bar?   Yes and we will also have a selection of mocktails (nonalcoholic mixed drinks)!     What's the best way to RSVP?   Digitally is best! Please follow the instructions on your invitation.     I'm still getting used to going to post-pandemic events...   The great outdoors allows for the best air flow and distancing to ease your mind. Please feel free to wear a mask if you feel uncomfortable without one. Rachael wears an N95 all day every day working in a nursing home, she and Kyle will fully support your choice in putting your health first
