Dylan and Rachael met in August of 2021 at the Montana State University club fair, where they were both recruiting for clubs. Quickly, they bonded over their shared interest in politics and desire to make a change on their campus, specifically regarding the mask mandate policy. Over the next few months, the two spent time together doing campus activism. On October 24 of that year, Rachael agreed to go on a date with Dylan. They went to church, had lunch, and played Mario Kart.

In the time Dylan and Rachael have been together, they have been able to travel the country for political conferences, testify at the state legislature on student rights legislation, and still make time for fun.

On December 18th of 2023 (and after months of hinting from Rachael), Dylan proposed at the same spot they met on the MSU campus.

In the fall of 2024, Rachael will be attending law school (location still tbd) and the couple cannot wait for this new adventure!
