Camp Mataponi has plenty of cabins to accommodate all of our wedding guests. All cabins have electricity, showers, and toilets in them. Linens are provided (unless you prefer to bring your own). The cabins do not have heating or AC. There are some cabins with queen-sized or full-sized beds and we will do our best to accommodate you as much as possible. Most cabins are bunkhouses. Each bunkhouse has 4-5 bunk beds and a bathroom. Beds can also be pushed together to create full-sized beds.
Sleeping arrangements are customizable and will be personally arranged by us, Rachael and Casey. Every couple or family should be able to get their own cabin or room ! All cabins, rooms, and bunkhouses are clean, well maintained, and fun! (Photos below)

DO I HAVE TO STAY AT THE CAMP?
Although you don't need to be there for both nights, we hope you'll want to join in on the fun on the lake! However, there are hotels and airbnbs in the area. If you're only able to make the wedding, it will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2025!
GETTING AROUND CAMP:
Overnight guest arrival:
Upon arrival to Camp Mataponi, the camp staff will escort you to your cabin, help you unload your car as needed and show you where to park your car after you're done unloading. There is no parking next to the cabins for safety reasons. The camp staff will be available to assist with your arrival, regardless of when you arrive (even if it's 3AM on Friday morning).
CAN I BRING A DATE?
Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding.
ARE KIDS WELCOME?
Invitations will be specific and will include names of the children invited. However, we encourage you to use this weekend as a "weekend get away" for yourself! For those of you that will be bringing your children, please be sure to watch them closely.
DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN ALCOHOL?
Camp Mataponi is a BYOB facility. Beer, seltzers, and canned cocktails are welcomed and can be consumed throughout the camp area and do not require a tumbler or solid colored cup. Please be mindful of the campgrounds and be sure not to litter.
If liquor and hard alcohol concoctions are your preferred taste, these are not permitted to be consumed in sight on the camp areas. There will be camp staff on grounds, so please be respectful and responsible for your behavior – we don’t want to have to pretend we don’t know you 😉
We will be proving beer, wine, and seltzers at the welcome dinner on Thursday night and at the BBQ dinner on Friday night.
During our wedding reception, there will be an open bar (liquor included).
SHOULD I BRING FOOD?
If you are staying the weekend with us, all meals will be provided! You are welcome to pack snacks if you would like, but this is not necessary.
