Our Wedding

Once upon a time, over 5 years to be precise, Chris was perusing the internet, when he happened upon a picture of Rachel. Remembering he had met her once before he was immediately intrigued as to who this beautiful creature was, and sent her a message asking her on a date. They met at a casual local hangout names Thomas Street Tavern in the eclectic arts district of Charlotte, NC. While both were equally smitten and nervous, yet, despite their anxieties, they each had a spectacular time in the company of the other. From this point forward, Chris and Rachel, step by step, began growing in love and in life. Laying the foundations for a future of permanence in which their futures would forever be entwined. Let's fast-forward to May 2022, where Chris has taken Rachel to Bergen, Norway on a trip disguised as a "work trip". To his credit, there was a tattoo convention they attended, but the trip he intended was for so much more.On May 13th, 2022; Chris, Rachel, and friends, trekked to a beautiful Norse church thought to be thousands of years old, "Fantoft Stavkirke". Unbeknownst to Rachel, while she faced the church, taking in the historical awe of this famous Viking church, Chris cunningly got down on one knew behind her. When she turned, he took her by her hand, and asked her to be his forever. With tears of joy and surprise, Rachel accepted. Rachel Adams and Chris Toler jovially invite you to gather on October 13th, 2023 to pay witness to the joining and celebrations of their love.
