Rachel and Caleb met their junior year at Texas Tech University during a tailgate in October. They hit it off by discussing their previous ACL surgeries. Their first official date was at Caprock café and by December they were a officially a couple. Fast forward to senior year and they continued to enjoy college life together while determining what the future would look like.

After graduating in May of 2020, Rachel stayed behind in Lubbock to continue her education while Caleb moved to San Antonio and pursued his real estate license. Caleb made countless road trips to Lubbock and Rachel racked up Southwest credits during their near three year long distance relationship. In May of 2023, Rachel graduated and moved to San Antonio to start her career in physical therapy while being near Caleb. She could have not made it through school without his loving support.

Since then, they have grown together as a couple and enjoyed living in the same city, while learning to navigate adult life. After five and a half years of dating, Caleb proposed to Rachel on June 15th, 2024. A surprise engagement party occurred to celebrate with all their family and friends.
