This 5.4 mile hike holds a special place in our hearts. On June 29th 2024 we hiked up as a dating couple and came down an engaged one! It has an elevation gain of 1,725ft and takes an estimated time of 3.5 hours to hike.

Here are some of our favorite local activities: Explore Ponderosa State ParkLocated on a scenic peninsula jutting into Payette Lake, this park is perfect for hiking, biking, or just enjoying a peaceful walk among towering pines. Don’t miss the scenic overlook! Enjoy Payette LakeRent a kayak, paddleboard, or boat and take in the stunning mountain views from the water. Or relax on the beach with a picnic. Our favorite is to paddleboard the meanders starting at the Twah Creek Picnic area! Ride the Brundage Mountain ChairliftTake the chairlift up Brundage Mountain for breathtaking views, high alpine hiking, and mountain biking. (And yes—this is also where the wedding will be!) You will have free chairlift access on Saturday starting at 10 am. Check Out Local Breweries &amp; Coffee ShopsGrab a pint at Salmon River Brewery or relax with a coffee at Mountain Java, which both have great lakefront views. Stroll Downtown McCallBrowse charming boutiques, souvenir shops, and grab a bite at one of the many cozy cafés and restaurants. Soak in a Hot SpringUnwind in one of the area's natural hot springs. Gold Fork Hot Springs is our favorite and just a short drive from town. Play a Round of Golf, or Disc GolfCheck out a tee time at the<a href="https://www.mccall.id.us/165/Golf-Course" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"> McCall golf club</a>, or grab your discs and head to the City of McCall Course near the McCall-Donnelly High School off of Stibnite along the bike path.

Shuttle Information

We’ve arranged a complimentary shuttle to make getting to and from the celebration easy and safe. The shuttle will pick guests up at the parking lot adjacent to Albertsons in McCall at 2:20 PM (1st and Lenora), and take you directly to the venue. At the end of the night, the shuttle will depart the venue at 10:00 PM, returning guests to Albertsons/downtown McCall so you can head home or keep the night going! You are welcome to drive to Brundage and take the shuttle back at the end of the night as long as you have transportation arranged to pick your car up the next day.
