Our Wedding

Dalton and Rachel's love story began in 2020 with two people stuck at home who had nothing to do during a Pandemic but download a dating app. After the two matched, they talked daily until Covid protocols loosened enough for them to finally meet in person. Dalton took Rachel out to dinner and the two hit it off so well that they accidentally closed the restaurant down! They started dating soon after that, spending their time with their family and friends, exploring Houston, eating more Buffalo Wild Wings than Rachel ever thought was possible, attending as many concerts as their bank accounts would allow, watching every single season of Survivor, and eventually adopting their cat, Theo! During an amazing date early on in their relationship, "Today" by The Smashing Pumpkins played on the radio and Rachel jokingly dubbed it their song. Even though the song isn't the most romantic, it meant a lot to them. After four years together, Dalton surprised Rachel with tickets to see her favorite band, Green Day, who was going on tour with The Smashing Pumpkins. Rachel had no idea, but Dalton had something huge planned for that night! When The Smashing Pumpkins came on stage and started playing Today, Dalton took Rachel aside and proposed with their song playing in the background! Now they're planning their dream wedding and looking forward to celebrating their love story with their families and friends!
