Mitch and I met in college. I was pledging to a sorority and Mitch was the president of his fraternity. At a pledge activity the word got out that I was newly single. Mitch reached out and asked my friends to set us up. A few weeks later we met at a party and he slowly won over my heart. Through many breakfasts, 2 for 1 margaritas, and lots of laughter, we fell in love! After college we moved to New York City which was a big culture shock. The city pushed us with many challenges, and in the end made our relationship stronger. After 2.5 years in NYC, we left and started traveling the country. Mitch worked from home and I was a travel nurse. Through our travel adventures we realized we never wanted to spend another day without each other’s company. I looked at him one day, and I said I want to be your wife and he looked back and said I want to be your husband. We are each other’s best friend and we are soul mates. We bring out the best in one another, and are so lucky to have found each other. When Mitch proposed Memorial Day 2019, it was one of the happiest days of my life. It’s been amazing being engaged and we can’t wait to be married!
