It soon became popular with the students, and the next year another location opened in Downtown Waco followed by the third location in Waco on Valley Mills Drive the next year. The sandwiches are oven-toasted giving the bread a crunchy crust covering a soft and airy center. Found only in Waco Texas, Schmaltz’s is “Waco Born & Bread”.
