Wolski's Tavern is Milwaukee's greatest bar and easily our favorite place to spend time. Whether it was an afternoon of beer and popcorn or a late night closing down the bar, (which earns one of their world famous bumper stickers) this is a place we love. We spent lots of time here together playing an intense game of darts or spending time with friends.Upon getting engaged this is the first place we wanted to go to celebrate.

The Milwaukee Art Museum (MAM) is an art museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The museum houses more than 35,000 works of art housed on four floors, with works from antiquity to the present. Included in the collection are 15th- to 20th-century European and 17th- to 20th-century American paintings, sculpture, prints, drawings, decorative arts, photographs, and folk and self-taught art. Among the best in the collection are the museum's holding of American decorative arts, German Expressionism, folk and Haitian art, and American art after 1960.

Located along the river walk in Milwaukee's Third Ward, the Milwaukee Ale House has a wonderful west facing patio that overlooks the Milwaukee River. One of the many places where Rachel and I found ourselves for Happy Hour after a long day of work at Harley-Davidson.

A tap selection dominated by house brewed Ales and Lagers including fan favorites Louie's Demise, Pull Chain Pall Ale and Sheepshead Oatmeal Stout.

Milwaukee's premier brewery and previous hidden gem. Lakefront Brewery has the best Brewery Tour in Milwaukee. Fun, informative and not lacking drinks you will enjoy many delicious beers here.

The tour is highly recommended but if you are only able to stop in for a beer or two it is worth the visit. Lakefront hosts a Friday fish fry that rivals most in the world, filled with great drinks and polka music. I challenge you to leave without a smile on your face.

Nestled in the heart of Milwaukee's Third Ward. Cafe Benelux has an International beer selection so great you might just need to have 2!

A wonderful rooftop patio and food inspired by the politico-economic union of its namesakes 3 neighboring countries Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg. If you can't find something you like have some frites, another beer and think about it a little longer.

The Betty Brinn Children's Museum is dedicated to providing hands-on educational experiences that help children build fundamental cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills during their formative years, and to educating adults about the profound influence of early learning on a child's academic and lifelong success.

Discovery World is a science and technology center located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The museum focuses on innovation and technology, as well as Great Lakes education and conservation. It contains interactive exhibits, the Reiman Aquarium, and two theaters, and is home to Wisconsin's official flagship, the Denis Sullivan, a fully functional sailing vessel modeled after a 19th-century Great Lakes schooner. Many of the exhibits have to do with Milwaukee or the Great Lakes. The entire Great Lakes watershed, built to scale in the Great Lakes Future Exhibit, addresses freshwater issues, stewardship, and our relationship with freshwater resources.

Camp Bar is a lovely Northern Wisconsin themed bar. Nice and relaxed environment with a great drink selection. Be aware staying too long surrounded by the log cabin interior, sipping on old fashions will have you talking like you never imagined...Ya Know.

The Standard is nearly the perfect bar. Great beer selection and drink specials. Another East Side favorite where we often found ourselves.

The Great Lakes Distillery was a favorite stop on our annual Santa Rampage Bike Pub Crawl. With an ever growing selection of house made liquors this is a fun and dangerous stop for tastings, tours or one of their creative rotating cocktails.

What's a stop in Milwaukee without checking out Milwaukee's Motorcycle Playground. Whether it is a full on tour, learning all about the long proud history of Harley-Davidson Motorcycles or a stop in for lunch and a beer at the motorcycle themed bar and restaurant Motor. The Harley-Davidson Museum is a highly recommended stop.

If you find yourself in town on a Thursday night stop by the Museum for Bike Night and feast your eyes on all manner of creativity in motorcycle form.

Conejito's offers some of the best, simplest Mexian food anywhere. Three tacos and a tasty house margarita for under $10. One of our favorite spots for a quick meal, we like Conejito's more than we probably should.

Don't worry about the paper plates, the tasty tacos won't be on them too long...don't forget a squirt or two of their house made hot sauce .
