We met each other in high school, around mid way through year 9. At first we knew each other from being in a few classes together. We noticed each other here and there in the hallway.

It wasn't until when we were in year 10 when we started getting closer as friends and both of our friend groups became one. We exchanged phone numbers in art class, Cameron's reasoning was so I could send him homework notes. It soon turned into much more then that...

From sending messages about what we were doing on our weekends to having deep meaningful conversations. Which then eventually turned into late night phone calls, even if we weren't talking, it just felt nice to know we were with each other.

On 11th July 2017 Cameron finally pulled together the courage to ask if I wanted to be his girlfriend. I immediately said yes!

Cameron asked me about 3 years into the relationship if I'd consider marriage later down the track. I told him when the time felt right, yes.

Skip to February 19th 2023. We drove out to Cabbage Tree Beach, which at the time the entrance to the beach was closed off with tape. We proceeded to jump over the tape and walk across the secluded beach, all the way to the rocky ocean front. Right there in that moment I felt calm and happy. I saw Cameron get down on one knee and said "Baby...Will you marry me?" Of course I said YES!
