Our Wedding

05/08/2023 - Jonah wrote Rachel a song to ask her to go out with him. 05/18/2023 - Jonah and Rachel's First Date! They got dinner at Jersey Girl Cafe and then walked around Princeton for probably a couple of miles. 05/26/2023 - Their Second Date! They got sandwiches from Dolce and Clementes and then had a picnic in Veterans Park. They also started working on a puzzle while on the picnic. 06/07/2023 - It became official! Thanks to the fires from Canada, Jonah and Rachel drove around for a few hours. Within the first 30 minutes, he asked her to be his girlfriend and they made it official! They also held hands for the first time :) 06/17/2023 - Rachel met Jonah’s extended family at his sister’s graduation party! 06/25/2023 - Jonah met Rachel’s extended family at a party at her aunts. He won her grandma’s heart by clearing her place and won the younger cousins over by playing piano. 09/28/2023 - Jonah and Rachel said I love you for the first time. It also happened to be on Jonah’s birthday. 06/01/2024 - Jonah met Rachel’s parents at a Mexican restaurant and asked them for their blessing to marry Rachel. 08/10/2024 - Jonah and Rachel got Engaged! They went to Bowman Hill Wildflower Preserve and he asked her to marry him. She said yes :) 05/23/2025 - The Wedding Day!

Rachel and I met about 4 years ago now, and I never would have imagined the friendship we would have! From camping trips to discipleship group to now being maids of honor in each other’s weddings, I have been blessed immensely by my friendship with Rachel! I’ve known Jonah for just as long, so to see the two of them get married is a little mind-blowing, but also incredible and so exciting!

I have had the privilege of doing life with Jonah for the last three years. We met at Davisville Church and I have gotten to see Jonah grow as he has pursued Jesus in all that he does. Very excited for this special day and to see my friend marry the girl of his dreams.

Jack Wilson

I’ve had the honor and privilege of knowing Rachel my entire life. We grew up together in church and homeschool activities. Her family is mine and my family is hers. 
So much has happened in the lifetime that I’ve known her from family missions trips to Coatesville and Belize to meeting Jonah with a bag full of ice cream one night. 
I am so incredibly excited for both of them as they take on this next chapter! Rachel and Jonah’s hearts for one another are truly beautiful. 

Abigail Seidle

Hello hello!! My name is Mark, I have known Rachel and Jonah ever since I came to Davisville Church! I have had the blessing of getting to see them love one another well both as friends, dating, and now as they are engaged! While Rachel and I have been friends, Jonah and I have been more like brothers. We have shared in our good times and bad, spent many late nights sharing in crazy shenanigans, sleeping in the woods and braving the elements. There was also that one time I almost dropped a tree on him too! Jonah and Rachel called me while I was organizing a car meet to say they had finally gotten engaged. I may have yelled several times and been running up and down a parking lot as the patrons of the car meet looked at me like I was insane, but there was no way for me to contain the excitement I had for these two. So I can’t wait to see them say, “I do.”

Mark Disbrow

We met when we were both of the newbies at Davisville Young Adults. We bonded together quickly. Rachel and I have grown close in the 3+ years we have known each other. We have seen the Lord grow in our lives in so many ways. By being in an accountability group together, we are able to dive deeper into our relationship with each other. I have been so encouraged seeing Jonah & Rachel's relationship. They are such a beautiful couple and really show the love of Christ in the way they love each other.

Hey I’m Josiah. I became President of the Jonah fan club (followed soon after by my demotion to co-chairman) in 2023 when I tried a church called Davisville and recognized the same tall, devilishly handsome man who I had happened to cross paths with coincidentally on a camping trip with a completely separate friend group the year prior. Jonah has taught me things that I’ll remember for the rest of my life and is one of the best men on the planet. I can’t think of a better man for Rachel, who happens to be my longest enduring childhood friendship. Cheers to the pairing of these two amazingly kindhearted and special human beings!

My name is Brooke and a friend of the bride and groom! I am so honored to stand by Rachel and Jonah on their special day, honoring their love and joy for each other and the Lord. I’ve had the blessing of seeing when the two of them first started dating to when they got engaged, and watching their love story unfold as been so wonderful. I can’t wait to get my boogie on and dance the night away with the lovely couple!

Hello! My ID says my name is Braden so that’s how I’ll introduce myself. I’ve known Jonah and Rachel for a rather short time, but they both have become a huge part of my life. They are always down for anything whether that’s to hang out in random parking lots or helping a guy work on his truck. I got the privilege to be one of the first to find out this amazing couple was getting married and they will tell you it kind of broke my brain. The excitement I have at getting to be a part of this monumental event is indescribable. I’m so unbelievably happy for these two.

I’ve known Rachel since I was born. We grew up together, from playing dress up to birthday parties to middle school youth group to Rachel getting married and everything in between. We are truly friends for life. So excited for Rachel and Jonah as they move into this stage of life together. I cannot wait to see what the Lord has planned for them!! Love you both!!

Hi All, my name is Alex and I’ve had the pleasure of holding a baby Jonah (my cousin) many years ago and it has been a privilege to grow up alongside him and begin to share our adult lives together.  By his quiet witness I’ve learned to love others more authentically, and to honor God in simple but profound ways.  I’ve enjoyed getting to know Rachel these past few years and she is already so much a part of our family, so I am pleased that she landed such a good and steady man – She deserves nice things.  Here’s looking forward to a baby shower this time next year!  Until then, I’ll stay content and cherish the opportunity to take part in a wedding honoring such a beautiful match.

I love and adore both of them with my whole heart and was so happy when Rachel asked me to be a bridesmaid that I dropped my lollipop. Both of these people are individual gifts from God, and together they are literally the ultimate duo (and best church mom and dad a girl could ask for 😌). I love you guys!!!!

Katie Phillips

Hello, I am Jonah’s cousin Zach and this is his God Daughter Zoe. Despite appearances she will not be in the wedding party nor did we find her in the woods. She is living proof however that I trust Jonah to raise my child in the Christian faith if I and my wife are killed in a time of persecution, which is pretty gnarly. It seems my little (giant) cousin has figured out at a young age what few of us even discover in our eighties. Namely, that you really can trust God and take Him at His Word. Plus, he is marrying WAY above his league, which speaks to his reliability as a man in general. I wish you both the best and can’t wait to be a witness to your joy.
