<p>Chris and Rachel met one night out at Tin Roof in the summer of 2023. There were a number of things that had to line up for them to meet that night. For one- Chris had moved in across the street from the bar just a couple of weeks prior! Rachel had refused to go out that night all together, but once convinced, specifically requested to NOT go to Tin Roof! As a result, she and her girlfriends started the night elsewhere, but they ended up dragging her on to Tin Roof anyway. Chris was on his way home for the night and stopped in for 'one drink' with his roommate. Rachel saw Chris at the back of the bar, walked straight up to him to ask if he was single, and his one drink quickly turned in to talking all night until the bar shut down. From that night on, their romance began and was poured into for 3 months before Chris had to deploy for 6. The 6 months were tough, but full of 8 hour facetimes on weekends and sharing letters back and forth. When Chris got back to the states, they dated for another year, and got engaged on 3/18/25 in the beautiful St. Tropez, France! We can't wait to celebrate this beautiful love story with you on 2/28/26!</p>
