Long ago, Rachel and Jess (Bridesmaid) grew up together in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, building a great friendship and love for volleyball.

Ian grew up in Blackduck, Minnesota. After attending college in Duluth, he moved to Minneapolis and started work at Minnetronix, where he formed a friendship with Jett (Bridesmaid, front middle).

While Rachel was attending Grad School at Clemson, she moved to Minneapolis during the summer for Internships. Her original plan was to live with her sister, but the commute was longer than expected. Luckily, Jess had just moved into a house with her college friend (Jett) and they had an extra bedroom.

Ian played on a volleyball team with Jess & Jett, and Rachel would watch the Setsy Beaches team during her summers in Minneapolis (where she first set eyes on Ian).

We went on our first date to Betty Dangers and took a romantic Ferris wheel ride with a great view of Minneapolis!
