Our dress code is formal/black-tie optional. For men, we ask that you wear a tuxedo or dark suit and tie. For women, an evening gown or a midi- or knee-length dress would be appropriate.

Our ceremony will be indoors at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, while cocktail hour and the reception will take place outdoors at Cypress Gardens. Guests will walk to the gardens from the parking lot on paved pathways and will need to step on grass for dinner seating. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.

We have added all formally invited guests to your wedding invitation. Due to venue capacity limits, we are unable to accommodate any guests not listed on your invitation. However, infants under one are welcome to join!

Early May is a beautiful time to visit Charleston. Temperatures are mild with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s to 60s at night. Ladies, you may want to bring a shawl or sweater to the reception - just in case. If forecasted temperatures will be chilly, we will have heaters to keep everyone comfortable.

We are leaving Sunday, May 4th for three days in New Orleans followed by three days in Boston. It's sure to be a wonderful trip!
