David's Perspective:Matt and I met in elementary school in around 4th grade. He was the new kid and I wanted to make him feel welcome. We would hang out quite a bit at school and quickly became friends. We would do all sorts of things together outside of school as well as at school. Stuff like Snowmobiling, riding bikes, playing video games and stuff kids did in the 90’s and early 2000’s. He’s been a great friend and I am happy to see him with Rachel, as they drive each other so crazy it’s cute and utterly hilarious!

Rachel's Perspective:This girl has been a vibrant part of my life since highschool. When we met in our art and environmental program I would never have guessed this purple haired (at the time) person would have such an impact on me. She's been with me through thick and thin and I love how our friendship can cross such large distances.Violet's Perspective:I met Rachel in my second last year of high school. We were both a part of an amazingly hippy outdoor education program, called the DaVinci Arts and Science Leadership program. Basically we gallivanted through the forest every day, sometimes attacking each other with nerf guns and sticks while wearing face paint. We grew closer and closer throughout that semester, but ultimately it was trying to reintegrate with the outside world after the semester was over that really bonded us. Since then we've ditched the face paint (for the most part) and our weapons, but still try to goof off whenever we can.

I was lucky enough to have had this wonderful woman as my baking partner throughout most of college, we went to France together, and even attempted a gingerbread competition together. She's made me laugh so hard I cried, and comforted me when I was low. Couldn't imagine having never met her.
