Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Sioux City North, located at 885 Cottonwood Lane, Dakota Dunes, SD 57049. We also have a room block at this hotel for guests!
When is check in and check out at the hotel?
Check in at the hotel is 3:00 PM and Check Out is 11:00 AM. The hotel does offer a breakfast for all hotel guests.
What is the dress code?
We want everyone to feel comfortable, so our dress code is dressy casual. May we suggest the following attire: women may wear dresses or skirts. Men may wear a light dress shirt (button-down or polo) and pants with the option of a tie. Feel free to wear jeans!
Are kids invited?
Heck yes! We believe that weddings are about joining and creating families, so it would be a shame to not have children there. However, we ask that parents keep a close eye on their children since alcohol will be present at the reception. Children should be listed on your RSVP, but if yours is/are not, please let us know.
What time should we arrive?
We kindly ask that you arrive between 3:45-4:15 PM. This will allow enough time to find a seat. The ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM.
Is parking available?
There is plenty of parking at the venue. Hotel guests will park near the entrance to the hotel and the event center has a dedicated parking lot.
Will there be a time gap between your ceremony and reception?
Yes, but fear not! The cocktail hour will take place just outside of the event space and drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be available. This time will allow the event staff to flip the room from the ceremony to reception.
There is an outdoor patio that will be available to guests (weather permitting). We will have a few outdoor games available in this space as well.
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, we can only allow the people named on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to "{Your Name} & Guest" if a plus one has been allotted to you. We appreciate your understanding!
