This private cabin sits on a lot that is a little over an acre in size. It offers all the modern amenities you are looking for with an amazing sunset view overlooking the forest. You can set on the porch and watch the wildlife, soak in the hot tub, savor the sunset, and bask in the firelight. Not wanting to travel far to make lots of memories and have fun? This property is located within minutes of The Gorge Underground, Natural Bridge State Park, Daniel Boone National Forest, Nada Tunnel, Red River Zip Lining, rock climbing and so much more! Theres even lots for the kids to do like visiting the reptile zoo, going putt-putt golfing and more!

One king bed is located on the lower level of the property with a Smart TV and a full bathroom offering a beautiful walk-in shower! On the second story you will find a king size bed with a Smart TV and a full bathroom that offers a tub/shower combo! You have complete privacy in this beautiful cabin. Walk out on to the porch and take a dip in the hot tub or relax around the fire pit after your adventurous day! Make lasting memories!

Our game room features a commercial grade air hockey table, Nerf Rival Guns, digital pinball w/over 20 playing tables, Mortal Kombat 1up, and cocktail arcade machine with 60 games including PacMan, Galaga, etc. Plenty of fun for the entire family!

With 3.3 acres, you will have plenty of space for parking, including trailer parking for those bringing off road vehicles.

Please remember that you're staying in our home, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site 24/7.

Due to our cabin being in a new development , it's important to be mindful of water usage due to the unique situation of not being on city water service. City water is delivered and held in storage tanks. We monitor the water levels to know when a delivery is needed. A whole house carbon water filter has been installed on the main water line. We will provide two 1 gallon drinking water jugs for cooking or drinking but you will likely want to bring additional water for drinking.

This cabin only has 1 hot water heater. There will be limited hot water if all showers are taken simultaneously or back to back.

While a regular car can access the property, during inclement weather all-wheel drive or 4x4 may be needed.

Our cabin is located in the heart of the Red River Gorge. We are only minutes away from all the attractions and we are excited to share our experience with you!! We have put many long hours in the build of our A frame. This build has been a family adventure. From teaching the kids how to sand and stain to the beautiful hand pieced quilts that cover the beds made by my mother. The road is a new gravel road but 4x4 not needed to access. Cars with average clearance will not have difficulties.

On the first level It has two bedrooms, the master with a queen bed, the second with a full sized bed both have private bathrooms. Check out my extended stay discounts! I enjoy having rock climbers or seasonal employees stay with me for months at a time. In your private room there is either a small desk or a card table if you desire to work from my home. In addition to the comfy, well-light work space in your room, there is is also plenty of tables & chairs or the couch if you prefer to work in the common space areas. I have excellent WiFi.

My home is very centrally located to all the common climbing areas including Muir Valley, PMRP, MF, DBNF. I am about 5 minutes from Miguel's Pizza. My home is just minutes away from the Natural Bridge State Park and hiking all throughout the Gorge.

You may have up to four people in your room. I provide an air mattress and additional linens, upon request.

You are also welcome to bring your pup, however pets are not allowed on any furniture in my home including the bed in your room or any bedding that is provided by me. Your dog must also be respectful to my dog and other guests. A $20 pet fee per visit will be due upon arrival.

Cell phone service is good to great at my home and there is free WiFi.

There is a $20 pet fee per visit. Pets are not allowed on any furniture including the bed in your room, tables, counter-tops, couches, and chairs.

Pets cannot be left unattended in my home or yard. Be aware if you plan on visiting the Natural Bridge State Park or Muir Valley because those entities do not allow dogs.

Welcome to your private getaway in the RRG! Recently remodeled! Youll find this cabin to be perfectly located for all your adventures. Easy access in any vehicle and parking for all guests. Youll enjoy the private pond, panoramic views, hot tub, double custom slate shower, several decks, and space to spread out. Smart tv, fast high speed internet, propane grill, new linens, and a fully equipped kitchen make for a care free stay! Come disconnect, recharge, and make memories!

Other things to note

As your trip approaches we wanted to make you aware of some good to know info about our cabin as well as some house rules:

1. We have high speed internet!

2. The hot tub should remain at aprox 105 degrees.

3. You can get firewood on your way to the cabin, there are several places to stop along the way, there is a coffee shop in what I would call a strip mall that has wood outside as well as the liquor store has some. There is also a Beer Barn that has some on the main road, it is on the way to The Rock House. I also think that right as you get off the highway the gas station does too. Sometimes there is left over wood but not always. There is also a house just past the cabin on the right that sometimes has some outside you can buy too.

4. We know the pool table is a bit tight, we have provided a shorty stick for you to use when needed, please do not move the table.

5. The pond does have quite a bit of fish in it! We are a catch and release ONLY, if you want to fish please bring your own supplies. Our pond is private and for guests only and use it at your own risk.

6. Traditionally Netflix, HBO Max etc work best on the internet/tvs. Amazon Prime is known to use a lot more bandwidth just as a heads up! You will need your own log ins for any internet TV you wish to watch. The TV in the loft also has an antenna so you can get local sports etc.

This cabin has easy access roads (4-WD is not necessary), no steep roads and no road problems. The last Quarter mile is a gravel road in the rolling hills of Scenic Heights Resort and arrives to a flat gravel driveway at the Cabin.
