To our friends and family: We're so excited to celebrate our wedding with you. Find all the details you need to know about our big day here.
The countdown until our forever is on.
If you have a question that isn't answered here, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're happy to help however we can and want your trip to Kansas City to be as enjoyable and stress-free as possible!
What is the dress code?
Our dress code is Formal, Black tie optional!
Where can I stay?
We have reserved a room block at Hotel Kansas City with discounted rates available through our wedding website (under the travel section). Since all wedding events will take place at the hotel, we highly recommend staying there if possible. It will allow you to fully enjoy the celebration without worrying about transportation at the end of the evening.
Hotel Kansas City is a beautiful historic hotel in the heart of downtown Kansas City and offers excellent on-site dining, including a restaurant, cocktail lounge, and coffee shop/bakery. If our room block fills or you'd prefer other accommodations, there are also many nearby hotels and vacation rentals within a short distance of the venue.
What Are the Parking and Transportation Options?
Because our wedding is downtown, parking can be a little challenging. Fortunately, there are several convenient options available:
Valet parking is available through Hotel Kansas City ($24.00 to valet, $42.00 for overnight parking).
Metered street parking and public parking garages are located throughout downtown.
Rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft are readily available.
The Kansas City Streetcar is a free and easy way to explore downtown Kansas City. The streetcar runs along Main Street and connects many of Kansas City's most popular neighborhoods and attractions. The closest streetcar stop to Hotel Kansas City is the Metro Center Station (12th & Main), located just a short walk from the hotel. Guests staying elsewhere downtown may find the streetcar to be a convenient transportation option throughout the weekend.
May I Bring a Guest or My Children?
One of the most difficult parts of wedding planning has been deciding on our guest list. If it were possible, we would truly love to celebrate with everyone. However, due to venue capacity and the logistics of a plated dinner service, we are only able to accommodate the guests specifically listed on each invitation.
Similarly, our wedding will be adults-only with the exception of children who are part of the wedding party and a small number of immediate family members.
We understand that arranging childcare or traveling without children may not be possible for everyone, and we completely respect any decisions regarding attendance. Thank you for your understanding as we navigate these limitations. We are incredibly grateful for your support and look forward to celebrating with you.
Will There Be Dietary Accommodations?
Absolutely! We want every guest to enjoy the meal and celebrate comfortably.
Dinner will include a starter course, a plated entrée featuring two proteins with accompanying sides, and of course, wedding cake. Our catering team can accommodate most dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and other common food allergies or restrictions.
Please indicate any dietary restrictions when submitting your RSVP so we can ensure appropriate accommodations are made.
