Our Wedding

This is our love story of a bond that grew into much more....We met on September 17th, 2022, at the Naugatuck Harvest Festival. Brett came to get a physic reading where he met Rachel. Brett told Rachel she could sit in on his reading. Rachel’s first thought was, “Who is this guy and why is he asking me to sit in on his reading?”. During the reading, the physic claimed someone significant would be entering his life. (Although, we do believe that we had met in passing in the late-night bar days lol). From that day on Rachel &amp; Brett would continue to get to know each other. Building a friendship that would eventually turn into more. It just so happened that Rachel &amp; Brett only lived 7 minutes away from each other making it convenient to flourish their relationship.We didn’t know it at the time, but our first date we would consider to be on October 8th where we took a foliage ride to Hogan’s Cider Mill in Burlington, Ct and then take a walk along the Saville Dam in Barkhamsted, Ct. Although none of this was planned, we just went with the flow. It was a love that grew as the days went by. We had to really think back to, “What was our first date? What day were we officially boyfriend/girlfriend?”. We kind of just met and didn't look back.Many significant moments happened between then and now; Brett met his Dad and a whole new world opened up, Rachel was welcomed into Brett's loving family &amp; Brett became a member of Rachels'. Together they became a pair; birthdays, family vacations and outings. Rachel bought a house in Beacon Falls where Brett moved in and adopted two kitties Atari &amp; Genesis, we now became kitty parents together and a house was becoming a home.As time went on, the love grew, new adventures taken; Salem, Vermont, Florida, many breweries and places visited, memories made &amp; one more kitty Zeppelin added to the mix.On July 24th, 2025, Brett brought Rachel back to their happy place in Salem where they had so many fun fall memories &amp; where he would propose to spend their lives together.Through the ups and downs, we have each other for the good and the bad. With love &amp; support we will get each other through this journey in life and will continue to build our future together.So, as you can see, the fall season holds a special place in our hearts, and is why we have chosen October 23, 2026 to have an actual official date to celebrate our love together. (Brett, write this date down so we don't forget! LOL)We can't wait to celebrate our love &amp; journey with each of you, on our special day!Love, Brett &amp; Rachel

Bruce is a best bud since early high school days, one that you can count on. From nights that turn into mornings helping each other home, to being there for whatever helping hand is needed which included some of the toughest I've been through. Family oriented and I have the honor to be godfather to his children. Hoping for many more to come. Including getting "porch beer Fridays" back in order.

Matty P and I have known each other since t-ball days, that's where we get competitive from. Our friendship was unmatched through high school days and college all the way through today where we work together. We've been on some great trips and have great memories of the college days and good ol' New Haven. So many baseball and basketball games, way more we've done and enjoyed to list; it goes on and on. Glad to continue the memories. Appreciate you being a part of it all.

Jon and I probably have known each other the longest. Since days of Assumption starting in Kindergarten to playing JV and Varsity, being captains together, always all tourney teams as well. Continuing our love of sports through HS although at different schools, we reconnected there. We've been on several great trips that will be remembered, baseball and basketball games, and we're currently work colleagues as well. Looking forward of more to come.

Kurt's a welcomed newer addition. Cousin from my Dad's side. Hit it off right away from all the breweries to family trips, to just plan hanging out and always there. Also showing you who taught Shaun White to board "me". He's a much-welcomed addition to this crew and glad you're a part.

Lou is another much welcomed addition. As soon as we met, knew a solid friendship/family will blossom. A brother I never had but always wanted, he's the epitome. Enjoy our family time and trips together.  We've seen and been through a lot already. Another great family man and love to be a part of watching yours grow as you will continue to see mine & Rachel's love and family flourish in the near future as well. Thanks for being a part and showing me what a true brother signifies.
