Some tips if you are visiting or unfamiliar with San Francisco and the Greater Bay Area:
1) Do not believe the horror stories! San Francisco is a beautiful city with so much to offer. We are spoiled rotten in terms of amazing food, museums, grand views, and fun things to do. Are you hungry? Want entertainment? Needing to see some wine country? Do we have a list for you! See below for recommendations.
2) That said...be careful and safe! There are some areas of SF that should not be on your to-do list and maybe avoided altogether. This is a city so be aware of your surroundings and watch your belongings.
3) Do NOT leave anything in your car! Car break-ins occur everywhere, but especially in tourist areas. Even if electronics are out of sight, that does not mean they are safe. If you need to leave things in your vehicle, have a person act as a lookout.
4) Weather! It can change drastically neighborhood to neighborhood. We live in a city with micro-climates. October tends to be our hot month, but it cools down at night. Always dress in layers.
5) Feel free to reach out an ask us anything. Weather, where to go, what to eat, how long is it really going to take to get somewhere, or our favorite places to go.
