Our Story

Our Story

Picture of Our Story

A simple message on social media sparked a connection between two hearts. Ross and I first began talking over our shared love for fitness, and before long, we decided to meet in person at the gym. That day, amidst the sound of clinking weights and quiet music, we found ourselves lost in conversation—laughing, sharing stories, and discovering how much we had in common. Favorite bands, favorite foods, the little quirks that make each of us unique—it felt as though we had known each other far longer than just a few hours.

Only a month into dating, our love story took an unexpected and beautiful turn: we learned that we were expecting our son, Mason. His arrival filled our lives with a joy we could never have imagined, and from that moment forward, our days became brighter, our home warmer, and our hearts fuller. Together, we faced life’s challenges with determination and love, always holding tight to each other and building a life centered around family.

We always knew marriage would be part of our story, but we were never in a hurry. We promised ourselves that once I graduated, we would take that next step. On April 1, 2025, I proudly graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Two weeks later, during a peaceful family camping trip, we took an evening walk along the beach. With the sun dipping low over the water and Mason by our side, Ross knelt down, held out my grandmother’s ring, and asked me to be his forever.

And now, here we are—ready to begin the next chapter of our love story. If you are reading this, it means you are part of the journey that has brought us here. We cannot wait to celebrate our wedding day surrounded by the people who have supported, loved, and cheered us on every step of the way.

Q + A

HOW DO I RSVP?

To RSVP, please visit the "RSVP" page on our website and fill out the online form. Please RSVP at your earliest convenience and no later than September 1st, 2026. We look forward to celebrating with you! However, if we do not hear from you by this day, we will assume that you are unable to attend.

AM I ALLOWED TO BRING A PLUS ONE?

Unless stated otherwise on your invitation, we are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guest list to those who know us very well.

WHAT TIME SOULD I ARRIVE AT YOUR WEDDING CEREMONY?

We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space from the parking lot and find a seat. The doors and gates will close precisely at 5:30 P.M. and will not open until after the ceremony has concluded.

WHERE IS THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION?

The ceremony will take place outside near the pergola and gazebo. The cocktail hour will take place here as well. If weather does not permit, the ceremony will be moved indoors to the inside chapel. The reception will be held inside in the princess room.

AM I ALLOWED TO TAKE PHOTOS DURING YOUR CEREMONY?

We kindly ask that you keep our ceremony "unplugged." Please refrain from taking any photos or videos of our ceremony and keep these devices silenced until the ceremony concludes. There will be a photographer on site who will be able to capture this moment for us. You may take as many photos as you'd like at the cocktail hour and reception! We would love to see your point of view.

WHATS THE DRESS CODE FOR YOUR WEDDING?

We would love if our family and friends could join us in dressing up for the occasion! We kindly request a formal dress code for our wedding. Please no jeans.

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?

Yes, and there will be mocktails for those who are maintaining their sobriety.

ARE THERE ANY COLORS GUEST SHOULD AVOID WEARING?

Our bridal party will be wearing sage green, so please refrain from wearing this color, as we wish for our bridal party to stand out. In addition to this, please do not wear white, ivory, cream, or a similar shade.
