Rachel and Eric’s love story began when they were just 10 years old. Even at that young age, Eric boldly asked for Rachel’s number. They remained friends until they dated in high school.

Throughout the years, life took them in different directions. Eric enlisted in the Navy, and the miles and challenges between them seemed endless at times. But no matter the distance or the trials they faced, Rachel and Eric always found their way back to each other. With a little help from Eric’s sister Alyssa along the way, their love stood the test of time.

On November 27th, 2024, Eric planned a special evening at Craft Urban in Aurora. With roses, candles, and pictures of their journey together, the setting was perfect. In the glow of candlelight, Eric got down on one knee and told Rachel he didn’t want to spend another day without her.

After she said yes, their family and friends joined them to celebrate. It was a night full of love, laughter, and the perfect start to their forever.

On February 1st, 2025, Eric and Rachel were married in a private ceremony surrounded by their parents and then celebrated with their immediate family. Fifteen years after their story first began, they’re now happily married and looking forward to everything the future holds. It’s been a journey full of love, patience, and countless memories, and they’re so excited to start this next chapter of their lives together.
