It all started in July 2020 when Rachel and Seth matched on Hinge (OK, they also matched on Bumble the same day). Maybe that was the very first sign they were meant to be. One week later it was time for their first date. Outdoors in Central Park. Socially distanced, of course. What followed over the next month was a series of 7+ hour dates across multiple boroughs, seeing all the finest parks that New York City has to offer.

After six weeks, Seth had to head back to Syracuse, but they couldn't possibly think about not seeing each other. Endless facetimes, Rachel remembering how to drive, and a couple trips back and forth followed for the next few months before Seth moved back.

As things started to open up, Rachel and Seth started taking their dates from parks to restaurants, theaters, stadiums, diners and more. Always looking for another show, game or event to experience together.

In July of 2022, Seth and Rachel moved in together. Starting their life together in Jersey City. They continued binging TV shows, cooking, going for walks and explored their new neighborhood. They even found a new park!

And that's where Seth brought things full circle, taking Rachel on a chilly walk by the water in Liberty State Park and asking her to marry him. And she said yes!
