Dress Code
Cocktail Attire: Suit (jacket encouraged, tie optional), formal separates, dressy jumpsuits, and cocktail or floor length dresses are all welcome. Given potentially chilly fall weather, dresses with longer hemlines are also encouraged.
Please no t-shirts. Tuxes and ball gowns can also be left at home.
Keep in mind that this is an old French neighborhood with lots of brick streets and sidewalks.
It would mean a lot to us if you dressed in our colors. We encourage you to wear burgundy/deep reds, dusty/darker pink, mustard yellow, emerald green, burnt orange, midnight blue, and gold. Your invitation has examples of these things colors on the details card.

Parking for the Ceremony and Reception Venues
Trinity Lutheran has a parking lot directly North of the church with 32 spots. There are 5 additional spots for accessibility needs just West of the church near the gated garden. The Franklin also has a gated lot for parking at the reception. We have a security staff member to watch over the reception lot for the hours of 5:30pm to 10:30pm. There are also spots along the street of both venues for parking. All parking in the parking lot and along the street is free in Soulard. Note that the ceremony and reception venues are just 3 blocks (a 5 minute walk) apart.
Accessibility
Trinity Lutheran's main entrance requires the use of stairs to get into the sanctuary space, but other entrances have ramp access. As mentioned in the parking section, there are five parking spaces directly West of the church with easy access to accessible entrance to the sanctuary.
At the Franklin, you can expect two flights of stairs to access the reception hall. For those who require assistance, there is an elevator. The couple will have someone available to assist as needed.
Are children invited?
This wedding/reception will include thirty children ranging in age from 6 months to 18 years old. If your child is invited, their name will be included in the RSVP form. If they will not need a meal provided, we do ask you be sure to let us know. We have limited high chairs available for the dinner, so we ask that these be reserved for out of town guests. If you are an out of town guest and need a high chair, please select that option on your RSVP. If you live within a two hour drive of St. Louis, we ask you to bring your own high chair.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
All invited plus ones were included by name on invitations.
What's for dinner?
Passed and stationed hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour: hot honey chicken and biscuit with pimento cheese, cranberry goat cheese filo tart, and charcuterie spread.
Mains: Your choice of Duck Confit, Braised Short Rib, or Butternut Squash Ravioli (chicken tenders for children 13 and under).
Dessert: London Fog Cake (earl grey tea infused with lavender icing), Chocolate Cake, and Vanilla Cake
Should I bring cash?

Where/When is the couple going on their honeymoon?
Rachel and Luke will head out on their honeymoon trip to Australia on the Monday following the wedding. If you would like another chance to see them before they leave town, join them as they grab crepes the morning after at City Coffee & Creperie in Clayton at 36 N Brentwood Blvd. The couple will go to breakfast after church so you will catch them at a table between 9:45am and 11am. They plan a trip to Forest Park after. Anyone is welcome to join.
