Our Wedding

The universe has a way of bringing people together, sometimes back together. Rachel and Jimmy met in 2011 at a wrestling tournament where they immediately became "best friends." They didn't know it yet, but the then 16 and 14 year old Rachel and Jimmy had just met their perfect match. Life had to help the couple grow-up a bit first. Even though they were "besties," they didn't really hit it off enough to keep in touch through college, moving away from home, a pandemic, and a few major life changes. but that changed in 2023.As luck would have it, the two met again in the summer of 2023. At first they were trying to navigate their feelings for each other. Flirting every time they saw each other and locking eyes from across the room just to smile at each other. Eventually, after everyone bailed, they finally had a night together just the two of them. Since then they have been inseparable, well except for the few months of long distance at the start. Rachel made one rule when the relationship started, "Don't think about proposing until we've been together for four seasons, a road trip, and a flight." Jimmy thought it was silly at first, but after the road trip he knew she was the one. He just had to wait for the next three seasons.They fit a lot of adventure into those four seasons. A Phillies game with the worst traffic, a trip to Georgia for New Years, a California trip with a pivot to see a concert in Pittsburgh, trips to South Carolina and Florida, and two NYC trips. Each trip more enjoyable than the last and hundreds of memories made. Rachel and Jimmy want to thank you all for joining us on this adventure and being a part of the best day of their lives.

Four Seasons and a Road Trip

Our Story

Those of you who know us know that our engagement season has been for lack of a better word, chaotic. While our excitement about the engagement was at a high and wedding planning was in full swing, life had different plans. The unexpected passing of Rachel’s mom, Sande flipped our lives upside down. Through this time of grief, the celebration of our marriage is still very important to us. We have decided to tie the knot in an intimate ceremony in Tulum, Mexico on June 24, 2026. Although we wanted to a host a reception in Pennsylvania with all of our loved ones upon our return, life’s changes mean we will celebrate with our friends and family at our first anniversary in 2027. One tradition we are holding close is Rachel’s wedding shower - something Sande cherished. More details to follow about a May 2026 shower.
