In His Words: I met Rachel when I was a freshman in college, and I couldn’t help but think that she was way out of my league (which I&nbsp;still do). She was this beautiful blonde girl, who was social, kind, had all the friends in the world, and I heard about how she was crazy smart. She came from high school with a big group of friends, who I ended up meeting through my fraternity. Before I knew it, Rachel became a critical part of my story. She had completely infiltrated my friend group and I found myself around her all the time. The more I got to know her, the more I had this weird feeling that there wasn’t a more perfect person for me. I discovered how she is very active, almost to the point where she can never sit down. She is very conservative in her ways and appreciates the simple things in life. AND she was an executive member of the clean plate club, which was a big selling point for me. I can’t really speak much as to how I got her attracted and to eventually fall in love with me, being that I have absolutely no game at all. That one was just a blessing from the big man himself. It did not take long after Rachel and I started dating for me to realize that she was the one I would spend the rest of my life with. In a short amount of time we fell madly in love with each other and I found myself wanting to spend every waking moment with her. Our goals and life ambitions matched up perfectly and everything made sense when I was with her. Knowing I would join the military after college, I proposed to her in&nbsp;front of all of our loved ones at my family's&nbsp;Christmas party, and the rest is history. In Her Words: I first met Ethan freshman year of college in a mutual friend's dorm room.&nbsp; He was extremely well-mannered and so good looking. I had a date party coming up and asked him to come with me. I was too nervous to talk to him the whole night. We decided to give things another try later that year and I met his entire family at their river house. Ethan was in "traffic" which left me arriving to meet his family an entire hour before he arrived. I fell in love with his family immediately and only dreamt of "marrying into this family" I told my parents when I got home. However, upon arriving home from the river house, Ethan had different feelings concerning the situation. Ethan had recently gotten out of a high school relationship and wasn't in the right headspace for starting something new. Understandable, I suppose, but shucks that really stunk for me. Come sophomore year, I had become a sweetheart for Ethan's fraternity, TKE. So we were forced to see each other a lot. AWKWARD! On Valentine's Day, I suppose Ethan realized what a thing he had done (LOL), and asked to take me out to dinner. I said yes at first, and then I bailed. No I wasn't still salty.... ;) Through a year of some ups and downs and LOTS of growing up, it wasn't until May of 2017 (finals month) when things began to rekindle, in a much bigger way.&nbsp; You see, TKE also granted us access to some pretty sick study spots (thanks pledges!), so we were spending A LOT of time together. Ethan and I are both huge morning people, so we would both be the first ones there in the morning around 5 a.m. He would bring me unsolicited Red Bulls and coffee and we'd study together until the room got crowded. I began to look forward to seeing Ethan everyday, first thing in the morning. This was surely the start of something great. Then our very favorite summer began. Summer of 2017 was truly a summer of adventure and falling in love. We spent the whole summer going to country concerts, traveling the world (literally), and learning more and more about each other.&nbsp; And honestly, the rest is history.&nbsp; I love how we both value our morning coffee and peanut butter banana toast together.&nbsp; I love how we love our dog. I love Ethan's humble soul and his gentle heart. I love how Ethan always takes his time,&nbsp;and the way he looks at me. I have spent the last 3 years growing further and further in love with Ethan and everything that he is. I can't wait to continue growing in this relationship and see where this love takes us.
