Our Wedding

Rachel and Sky met in September of 2021 right after Sky moved to St. Louis. They matched on a dating app, Hinge, where Sky liked Rachel's silly answers about loving crab rangoon. Soon after chatting, Sky and Rachel went on their first date at the West Port Social. They talked for hours and seemed to click on every topic. The bartender there broke 7 glasses while they talked and made a joke that Rachel and Sky will get married because he gave them goodluck. The very next day they went on another date and then a few days later another date, and then another. They soon became inseperable. They enjoyed exploring the city, trying good food, going to concerts, and just being together. Sky asked Rachel to be official in November. Rachel got to meet some of Sky's friends on his birthday that November and Sky met Rachel's college friends in Chicago soon after. After meeting her friends, he met her parents the very next day! Meeting felt like fate. A few months before they had met Rachel had begun praying for a man like Sky to come into her life. Around that time, Sky had seen a psychic who told him he would move and meet a blonde girl. God had a plan for them. As their love continued to grow they started meeting each other's friends and spending more time with their families, which are very important to the couple. Sky became a dog dad to Rachel's corgi, Rory. As time passed, they supported each other's passions such as Rachel's decision to get her MBA and Sky's decision to start triathalons and IronMan races. Then came Thanksgiving 2023, when Sky and his mom planned a trip for both families to meet for the first time in Florida for Thanksgiving. That is where Sky proposed! The families also traveled together to Switzerland in July for Sky to compete in his first full IronMan and to see the beautiful country his mom grew up in. In August of 2024, families and friends met in Pittsburgh for the Engagement party. Rachel enjoyed meeting people who are close to Sky and knew him when he grew up. Sky, of course, loved seeing old friends and family to catch up on life. Rachel and Sky are thrilled to have you all be a huge part of the next chapter of their lives!

Bridesmaids

Lauren is the sister of the bride and Rachel's best friend. Inseperable when together, Lauren makes every memory full of humor and joy! Lauren is the kindest person and has the biggest heart. She is a great MOH!

Lauren Humphreys

Olivia and Rachel met at Edward Jones in 2022. Olivia is adventerous and loves to travel, with contagious positive energy. Rachel and Olivia have traveled to Florida, Nashville, and Colorado together!

Olivia Freeman

Susan and Rachel met at Edward Jones in 2021 after being connected through mutual friends who knew they would click. Susan and Rachel love their dinner dates, often closing down restaurants!

Susan Skinner 

Michelle was the first person Rachel met at Edward Jones in 2018, taking Rachel under her wing after quickly connecting over their love of Fanta soda. Michelle is incredibly supportive and Rachel's cheerleader. 

Michelle Delbert 

Sarah and Rachel met in College through Kappa Delta sorority. Sarah has contagious joyous energy and is incredibly kind to others. Rachel loves all the memories they have made in college and post-college through their yearly girls trips! At the wedding, no tequila for Sarah!

Sarah Mason

Sofia and Rachel also met in College through Kappa Delta sorority. Sofia is a fashion icon in NYC and has won an Emmy! Sofia  loves to make people laugh and have a great time, while being a rock for those who need her. She is moving to London soon and Rachel can't wait to visit!

Sofia Grimsgard

Rachel and Kelly met in Kappa Delta sorority and often had classes together at IU. Kelly is incredibly smart and adventureous. She lives in Colorado and just hosted the most recent college girls trip!

Groomsmen

Younger brother to the groom. The two enjoyed spending time together while growing up. Most recently, they biked 500+ miles across Iowa for RAGBRAI. 

Clark Pederson

Logan and Sky met at Slippery Rock University. The two worked at Bayer together after graduation and lived at Morningside. 

Logan Tupper

James "Jimmy" Jackson and Sky met at Slippery Rock University. He also lived at Morningside after graduation. 

James Jackson

Dylan (better known as "Dingo") and Sky met at Slippery Rock University while on a Spring Break trip to Italy. The two also roomed together in Morningside after graduation. 

Dylan Adamson

Childhood friend and neighbor. Joel is like an adopted member of the Pederson family.

Ben (known as "Bun") and Sky met at Slippery Rock University. They also lived together in Morningside after graduation. 

Ben Richards

"Coach" Kyle and Sky met at Slippery Rock University. He is also a sub 3 marathon runner.

Late Afternoon:Free time to relax, freshen up, and explore the city!Time permitting, check out the arch or visit the Salt + Smoke Restaurant for some St. Louis BBQ. Evening:Welcome Reception and drinks at the outdoor bar on 8th floor of the Four Seasons Hotel at 8pm. Saturday: Wedding Day Morning/ Early Afternoon:Check out the city through a guided city trolley tour or visit the Arch, City Museum (kid friendly), or the free Art or History Museums in Forest Park. Enjoy brunch at:The city coffee house and crêperie in Clayton, Rooster, Egg, or Half &amp; Half. Reservations recommended. Afternoon:Time to get ready for the wedding!
