Eric has always considered himself lucky—and when it comes to Rachel, luck was certainly on his side.


In July 2022, Eric walked through the doors of Chick-fil-A in Bluffton, not knowing his life was about to change. Rachel was conducting interviews that day, and something about Eric stood out. She trusted her gut and hired him on the spot. What started as a simple job interview quietly set the stage for something much bigger.


Their friendship grew gradually—then all at once. Rachel had a (sometimes annoying) habit of asking questions and digging deeper, curious about the person Eric was beneath the surface. There was something about him she couldn't quite explain, a calm presence she felt drawn to, even before she understood why.


At the time, Rachel was engaged to someone else. But after that chapter closed, she and Eric saw their friendship in a new light. What they found in each other wasn’t ordinary—it was exceptional. Real. Meant to be. They started dating, and it quickly became clear that their connection was something extraordinary. The kind of love that feels like home.


In December 2024, Eric proposed. One year later, in December 2025, they’ll say "I do." Eric is warm, goofy, gentle, and steady—Rachel’s constant. Rachel is caring, quick-witted, patient, and full of heart—Eric’s light. Together, they balance each other and share a vision for a life built on simplicity, love, laughter, and showing up for the people who matter most.


They are endlessly grateful to their families for the love and support along the way. Family means everything to them—being close, being present, and being there for one another.
