Q + A

How do I RSVP?

While we would love to celebrate with you, unfortunately our RSVP date has passed and the guest list has been submitted to our vendors. However, we would be glad to celebrate with you after the wedding - so don’t be a stranger!

When does the wedding start?

Guests are invited to arrive as early as 4:00pm to enjoy the venue and find your seats. The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm. The reception will end at 10pm.

Can I bring my children/plus one?

While we hate to turn anyone away, please understand that our numbers are limited to those listed on your invitation.

What should I wear?

Attire is black tie optional for both the ceremony and reception. The ceremony will be outside, weather permitting. We invite ladies to wear floor length, midi, or cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy pant suits. Our ceremony will take place on grass, so stiletto heels are not recommended. Men are invited to wear a tuxedo, suit, or suit separates. Please no jeans.

Is the wedding outdoors?

The ceremony will be outside, weather permitting. Cocktail hour is inside the Mansion. The reception is outdoors in a covered space, and will be heated in the event of cold weather. Texas weather can be unpredictable so please check the local forecast when packing for the weekend!

How should I travel to the venue?

We encourage Uber, Lyft, Fetti or other rideshare options (we hope you will enjoy open bar!). However, Woodbine Mansion has several parking spaces on Lewis Street, and there is plenty of street parking around the Mansion in the walkable downtown Round Rock area. The Round Rock City Hall parking garage is also a short walk away, located at 111 S Lampasas Street.

Where should I stay?

The wedding party will stay at the Embassy Suites Round Rock, but we have room blocks at both the Embassy Suites Round Rock and Fairfield Inn & Suites Georgetown. The Embassy Suite room block rate is available until the block is full or until October 4, 2024. The Fairfield room block rate is available until the block is full or until October 11, 2024. There are several hotels, Airbnbs, and VRBOs in the Round Rock/Georgetown/North Austin area. Visit the "Where to Stay" page for more information.

Where is the closest airport?

Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is the nearest airport. It is a 35 minute drive from the venue.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Yes! Your presence is present enough, but if you are inclined to send a gift, please visit our Registry page to view our wedding registry. In addition to a traditional registry, we have chosen a charity that is important to us, Helping Hand Home for Children. Please find more information on our registry page.

What is Helping Hand Home for Children?

Helping Hand Home for Children (HHH) is a local nonprofit organization and residential therapeutic treatment center for children who have experienced trauma. HHH also provides support and training for families involved in the foster and adoption system, helps place children in loving homes, and facilitates adoptions. Through a partnership with the University of Texas, HHH opened an on-site charter school for resident children to help address children's unique needs. We learned about HHH after Rachel worked in the Children's Rights Clinic during law school. One reason we chose to include this charity on our registry is because even a small donation can go a long way. Please visit the site below for more information on HHH: https://helpinghandhome.org/

How can I donate to Helping Hand Home?

Thank you for helping us support this organization in their important work! You can donate by visiting the link below: https://secure.affinipay.com/pages/hhh/donation2 If you prefer, you may bring a donation to place in the card box on November 2, and we will ensure that it is safely delivered to Helping Hand Home.
