We met in an animal science class at Kansas State, during our sophomore year of college, in 2018.

Though we were always hanging out with a mutual friend group throughout college, it wasn't until the fall of our senior year (2020) that Cory asked me on an 'official' date. It did not take long for our relationship to grow and begin turning into a love story.

After we both graduated in May 2021, Cory and I both moved back to our hometowns and we dated long-distance for about a year and a half. In November 2022, I moved down to western Kansas and got a job near Cory's hometown and Cory continues to farm alongside his father and brother.

Cory proposed in November 2023 in a pasture on my family's farm where we were surrounded by my sheep and cows, it was perfect!
