Our Wedding

It was our second semester of our freshman year at Stonehill. Bright and early, we both headed to our Developmental Psychology class, not knowing that our lives were about to change. From the moment we saw each other, we felt an instant connection, but we didn't get the chance to talk. We so happened to have the next class together as well. I got there a bit early and noticed that the previous class had not gotten out and decided to wait by an adjacent wall. Dylan arrived after and proceeded to walk directly into the classroom. After the professor walked him out, we shared a laugh together and solidified that we wanted to get to know each other more. Luckily, we went to a small school and ran into each other on a night out. We went on our first date a couple weeks later and the rest is history. Thanks Sam for making sure I got a picture with the guy I liked on this night.

HOW WE MET

Our love for our alma mater Stonehill, runs deep. Any chance that we get, we find ourselves taking a walk around campus, enjoying a picnic on the quad, or reminiscing about our favorite memories there.&nbsp;It was move in weekend at the hill and my sister Emily was getting ready for her sophomore year. Since Emily was able to move in a few days prior, she promised me that I could still come to campus and we'd take a few photos together to celebrate the day. My sisters and I got all dressed up and headed over. We walked over to the Grotto at the front of the campus. This was a place that Dylan and I had gone before for one of our freshman year classes. I was a bit confused why we were stopping here for photos, but posed with my sisters. As Emily and Lena backed away, Dylan came in from around the corner and immediately got down on one knee. I couldn't have pictured a better moment for the two of us. It wasn't until a bit later that I actually saw what the ring looked like, as Dylan was too excited and closed the box once I said yes! It was the perfect summer day at our favorite place.

Lena & Emily - Maids of Honor 

Lena is my twin sister and my other half (sorry Dylan). She's been incredibly helpful with everything wedding planning and I never could have done it all without her. I'm so thankful to have her in my life because no one gets me like she does. She's incredibly smart, beautiful, kind, and caring. I love you so much!!

Emily is my little sister that is the funniest person I know. She can turn any situation humorous and her personality is infectious. I can't stop laughing when I'm with her and I'm so lucky she's my sister. I'm so proud of how she has grown up to became so strong and beautiful. Love you Em!!

John & Ryan - Best Men 

Ryan “Budge” is my second oldest brother. We went to junior/senior high school at the same time. In 7th grade, for Christmas, my mom got me a “Budge’s Little Brother” shirt. I wore it to school one day and never saw the shirt again. &nbsp;

John is my older brother. Since we were a family of four, we would play 2-on-2 games all the time. John and I were always a team. We would always win in cul-de-sac baseball and Cole ball.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Caroline - Flower Girl

Caroline is my sweet little cousin and the daughter of my cousin Leah and her husband Michael! She is 6 years old and entering 1st grade. She is kind, caring, full of energy, and a beautiful dancer. Can't wait to see some moves on the dance floor!

River & Forest - Ring Bearers

River and Forest are my cute cousins and the sons of my cousin Stacie and her husband Zachary! River is 4 years old and Forest is 2. After a day in the pool with them, I'd have to say they're probably stronger swimmers than me! I can't wait to see them all dressed up and walking down the aisle.

Michaela Connell

Michaela and I have been best friends since the 6th grade. Our favorite thing to do when we were little was to go out to Red Robin and then shop at Justice with Abby and Lena. Of course matching outfits were always on our list. Now, you can find us sipping our favorite wines at any vineyard or having a fun girls night out. No matter what, I know I'll always have her.

Alex Piatelli

Alex and I were randomly matched together as college roomates at Stonehill! After quickly getting to know each other, I knew we would be best friends right away. We continued to room together for all 4 years of school. Alex will always pick up the phone when I need a good chat and is always by my side when I need her.

Kristen Cole

Kristen is Dylan's sister! When we got engaged, we only told Kristen and she helped keep it a secret while we drove to NY. She helped to make sure everything was set up in order to surprise Dylan's family. She's super trustworthy and always so nice to talk too. I'm so happy to be gaining her as a sister in law!

Sam Mastrangelo

Sam and I met our Freshman year at Stonehill College! She has the kindest heart and we connected through our similar interests. From there, we got to spend the next few years living together at school. You can find us getting lost in a conversation together for hours. So glad she still lives close by because we have so much fun together.

Abby Tavares

Abby and I met when we were little at our dance studio and became best friends when we got to middle school! Abby came with me on my first trip to visit Dylan in NYC. She's an amazing friend who has been by my side through the awkward middle school days to vacationing in Cabo. Now she can be by my side on the big day!

Nicole Smith

Nicole is Dylan's step sister! When we met, she was only in 8th grade. She's super fun to be around and beautiful. I am always so happy when she's home when Dylan and I get to visit NY. I am so happy to be gaining her as a sister in law as well!

Emily Ratcliffe

Emily and I met in the 4th grade and has been my best friend ever since. I'm lucky enough to not only have gone through high school with her by my side, but Stonehill as well. Emily is one of a kind and I have way too much fun when she's around. She's my go to for a cup of coffee and a shopping trip or a fun night out. I couldn't imagine my life without her!

Mike and I met in Kindergarten and instantly became good friends. We were big Yankee fans and played little league basketball together. We got even closer when our families became close friends as well.

When Mike and I became friends, I also became close to his older brother Steven. During the summers, I would be at their house every day and hang out by the pool and eat good food. Every Sunday we would watch football (Jets and Giants).&nbsp;

Jason Lambrou

Jason is Rachel's brother and we actually got to spend a lot of time together at Stonehill College. Rachel and I were both lucky to have gotten to spend two of our college years together.

David Lambrou

David and I met when I started dating Rachel. When I would visit Rachel in Cumberland during summer break, we would do fun activities with David. We would go to Martha’s Vineyard and Newport together.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Mike Nettis

I've been lucky to know Michael my whole life as my cousin and my friend. When we were little, Michael would be over my house all the time and I would go over their house. My first sleepover ever was at his house.

Gerard Tierney

Gerard and I met during junior year during intermediate accounting class. We would study together all the time because we were in all the same courses. We became good friends instantly. Even after college, we are still close and hang out regularly.

Danny Smith

Danny and I met when our parents started dating. We were around the same age and had the same interests. We were both big sports fans and loved playing fantasy football. We also have many of the same friends (Mike and Steve).
