Rachel and David met at the Clique working as bartenders in 2010.

They started dating in 2018; their first date was a tribute to the Beatles at the Grand Rapids Symphony.

2019 Rachel and David took their first vacation together in California.

2020 they moved in together right before Covid took place.

In 2021 they got engaged at the Frederik Meijer Gardens inside the Carnivorous Plant room.
