Our Wedding

Once upon a Time, far far away

There was a handsome man by the name of Fredrick and a beautiful woman by the name of Rachel. Fredrick and Rachel first crossed paths in college, but life carried them in different directions. Neither of them could have imagined what God was preparing for their future. Years later, on the morning of her brother's wedding, Rachel found herself overcome with emotion. Before stepping into the car to head to the venue, she paused and whispered a heartfelt prayer. "God, whenever you send me my husband, let him know I'm the One when he sees me and let me know he's the One when I see him, because I'm ready for marriage." After entering the venue, Rachel stepped out for a brief moment and there he was. Standing just a few feet away was Fredrick, who happened to be driving the other vehicle. Their eyes met and in a moment that felt orchestrated by heaven, he softly said "Rachel". She replied, "Fredrick". He then asked her how she was, and Rachel asked the same thing back. The third question from Fredrick was " Are you married"? Rachel then replied "No, are you" He replied No as well. They both couldn't ignore the spark they felt. It was as if God had answered Rachel's prayer in real time. What had once been just a familiar face from the past became the beginning of a divine love story. As scripture reminds us: "He who finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord". (Proverbs 18:22) Their story is proof that God's timing is perfect, His promises never fail and that love truly is patient and worth the wait. (1 Corinthians 13: 4) What started as a prayer on the way to a wedding became the beginning of another- The wedding of Fredrick and Rachel
