We had our first date at a little coffee shop in Eau Claire, where the conversation (and the chemistry) felt effortless from the start. One date quickly turned into many, and before we knew it, we were spending all of our time together—trying new adventures, discovering new places, and learning more about each other along the way.

Eventually, under glowing Christmas lights, Gavin worked up the courage to ask Rachel to be his girlfriend… and luckily, she said yes.

Since then, we’ve traveled, explored, gotten lost, laughed a lot, and still love nothing more than our cozy lazy days at home. After 2 years came the big question: Gavin asked Rachel to be his wife in a beautiful conservatory surrounded by flowers. He was so nervous he lost his words—but thankfully, she didn’t need them. She said yes.

Our story has been the perfect mix of adventure and quiet moments—exactly the way we like it.
