Q + A

Are children allowed?

Although we love your children, we plan for our wedding to be an exclusive adult only event other than the children in our wedding party. We hope for this weekend to be an opportunity for you to relax and enjoy the beautiful sights of wine country. We understand that childcare while traveling can be challenging and we apologize for any inconvenience.

What is the attire for the wedding?

We would love for our guests to dress up for our special occasion! The dress code is black tie optional. For men, please wear a suit however full tuxes are optional. For women, please wear an evening gown or floor length dress/jumpsuit. We can’t wait to see you in your fancy attire! Please reach out if you have questions.

What day should we arrive?

Our first wedding activity begins Saturday, August 16th with a late evening cocktail reception for guests. (More details to come) We cannot say thank you enough for taking the time to join us and celebrate our big day!

Which airport should we fly into?

There are several options to choose from: Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County (STS), San Francisco International (SFO), Sacramento International (SMF), and Oakland International (OAK). These airports are within a two-hour drive to Sonoma with STS being the closest.

Where should we stay?

The bride and groom will be staying at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa. There are numerous options for hotels, Airbnbs, camping, etc. Please see our travel tab for more information and recommendations!

Is there parking at the venue?

There is ample parking at the wedding venue. Uber and Lyft are also available in Napa and Sonoma County, sometimes there is a wait. Please drink responsibly and carpool if necessary.

Can we take our own photos?

We are having an unplugged ceremony as we have hired amazing individuals to capture the moment we say "I do." Please refrain from having phones out during the ceremony, but knock yourselves out during cocktail hour and the reception. We would love to see your photos throughout the night and use #loweryatlast.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Rachel, Noah, Doreen, or Lisa. We are looking forward to celebrating with you. Cheers!
