Things to Do

What is there to do in Ashland?

Although you might not think it, Ashland has plenty of things to do while you're here for the wedding!

There are plenty of restaurants, cafe's and bars to choose from. The downtown area has really come to life the last few years. In October there should still be farmers markets every Saturday morning if you would like to wonder down to Winchester Ave. to take in the sights.

Are there any kid friendly places to visit?

Of course! Central Park in downtown Ashland, has all new play sets that even make me a little jealous that I've outgrown them by now. The walking trail around the park and pond are beautiful in the fall. For other activies there is always Malibu Jack's right out on US 60, located in the camp landing district. Within Camp Landing there are numerous restaurants, a bowling alley, go carts, Whit's Custard, a candy store, movie theatre, and more! And lastly, the Highlands Museum is a classic, although it hasn't changed much from when we were kids I still love visiting and watching the kiddos explore.

Rachel's Fall Favorite!

You can't go wrong with Crisps Dairy Treat and a trip to Armco Park. This one is especially sentimental to me, it's only a few miles from mom and dad's house and has always been a staple for the family. Armco Park is right across the road from Crisps and happens to be the best place to park, enjoy the fresh air and your homemade ice cream!
