Our story began at Rosemount High School in 2010. We formed a great friendship during our time together in cross country along with a group of mutual friends. After graduation we took separate paths. Rachel attended DePaul University in Chicago, while Michael pursued his degree at the University of Jamestown in North Dakota. We kept in touch, occasionally checking in on the other. Then, one summer changed everything, we spent more and more time together. We began to feel like we never wanted to be without each other, but two more years of schooling kept us at a distance. During that time apart we only developed stronger feelings for each other. And when we both moved home to Minnesota we knew we had found the one. The rest, they say, is history.
