Our Wedding

Hayden and Rachel first met on a Friday evening in late October four years ago. Rachel was excitedly bringing her sister to an event that started with a Holy Hour at a local church, followed by a hangout at a nearby brewery. Coincidentally, Harrison, Hayden's brother, had invited him to tag along. The pairs arrived to the brewery simultaneously. Harrison and Rachel, who were already acquainted, made the introductions, and a group table was formed. Our couple spent their first night getting to know each other over drinks and laughter. After the initial introduction, they continued to run into each other at various social events, notably a Christmas party, several game nights, and excursions to the Stockyards. Their first official date came early February of the next year, where Hayden chose the classic flowers-and-a-movie approach. The evening was filled with talks of cars, movie genres, and discussion about whether to order chicken tenders or the pretzel bites. Rachel loved how natural it was talking to Hayden and how much of a gentleman he was. Hayden was surprised at how easy going and gentle natured Rachel was. At the end of the night, it was clear that a second date was a must. The second date turned into a third, then a fourth, and here we are, over three years later, they’re preparing to spending the rest of their lives together. As they spent more time together, they cherished the small, everyday moments—from going to the gym and grocery shopping, to playing sports and going on walks together. They also made room for fun, enjoying adventures that took them from lake days and scenic hikes, to a memorable hot air balloon ride where Hayden asked Rachel to be his wife....Looking back, it’s hard to believe how far we’ve come since that evening at the brewery. We’re so excited to start this new chapter together, with all of our loved ones by our side!
