Our Wedding

Brandon and Rachel’s first “date” was at 21st Amendment brewery in San Leandro. It was right after finals the first quarter of Chiropractic school, and unassuming Rachel hitched a ride from her dad so that she wouldn't have to drive. They both still remember walking out at the end of the night and Rachel’s dad reaching his hand out of his F150, shaking Brandon’s hand and in the deepest voice possible saying “nice to meet you”.&nbsp;Over the years&nbsp;Brandon and Rachel have been to an unthinkable number of concerts together ranging from Rod Stewart to Jimmy Buffet to rock concerts with 20 people in the city. They have also had the privilege of traveling all around the country together from Mt Horeb Wisconsin to Hawaii and pretty much every state in between thanks to their road trip to Colorado in 2021. Some of their most frequent and favorite destinations are Disneyland, Pebble Beach and Silverado in Napa.&nbsp;&nbsp;In the early stages of dating Brandon would come over to Rachel’s house every Monday night, with friends, to watch the bachelor. Little did Rachel know that Brandon was not in fact a fan of the Bachelor but actually a big fan of just spending time with her!&nbsp;Being that their Chiropractic school had a total of about 600 people Brandon and Rachel did what they could to keep their relationship on the down low just in case things didn't go as they expected; but after many trips to the school gym together (that was Rachel’s version of Brandon coming over for the Bachelor), Friday brunches at one of their houses before seminar, and somehow always ending up as each other's partner in every lab imaginable, people started to catch on that they were more than just friends.After getting engaged in their favorite place with their parents to help celebrate, life started to shift a little bit for the both of them. They realized that it would probably not be the best idea to continue to live with their parents after they were married. However, since they both were able to save money while living at home they decided it was time to go house hunting. After only a few weekends of looking Brandon pulled up to a 103 year old house in the hills of San Leandro to which Rachel said “this place is awful”. About 5 minutes later walking through the door of the kitchen everything changed, and Rachel fell in love. Less than 2 months, 200 headaches and countless tears later they were at the county recorder's office officially signing all of the paperwork to their first house! Rachel is now a full time dog mom to Theo which was a bit of a transition, but together Brandon and Rachel are loving the adventurous start of the rest of their lives. They are anxiously awaiting May 4, 2024 where even more memories will be made with each and every person reading this today!&nbsp; Cheers to us and cheers to you!&nbsp;

Where is the wedding?Both the ceremony and reception will be held at MOHI Wine.12775 Uvas Rd Morgan Hill, CA 95037

What time should I arrive at the venue?The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00. It is recommended to arrive to the venue no later that 3:30 and guests will be escorted to the ceremony space at the appropriate time.

What is the attire?Cocktail attire is preferred! The ceremony will be outdoors but on Astroturf and reception will be held indoors so shoes of any style would be appropriate!*The parking lot is gravel but will only be used to get to and from cars

What are the wedding colors?Bridesmaids will be dressed in spring pastel colors and groomsmen will be in black suits.

Can I park at the venue?There is a large gravel parking lot. Cars are more than welcome to park and can stay overnight if it becomes necessary. Ubers are available but should be ordered 15-20 minutes before you will need it to be there.The gates of MOHI should be open no later than 7:00 am the next morning to retrieve any cars left.

When are RSVP's expected?The last day to RSVP is March 25, 2024 but the sooner the better! The bride and groom would love to know as soon as you decide to make planning as easy as possible!

Are we leaving on the honeymoon right away?The bride and groom will not be leaving right away and will be going to a non-hosted breakfast at MOHI Farm May 5th in downtown Morgan Hill and would love to see everyone before they head out!

Morgan Hill is home to a large soccer facility used by children all over the Bay Area and we have been informed by the hotels that there is a large soccer tournament the weekend of May 4th. We recommend that you book hotel rooms as soon as you know if you will be able to attend the wedding to make sure that there is availability!

This is a beautiful hotel in Morgan Hill about 10 minutes from the venue. When we went to tour the hotel they let us know that they are beginning renovations on the rooms soon and could not guarantee that it would be finished by the wedding so I would check in to see if they have any more information when booking!

This hotel is also about 10 minutes from the venue but may be under construction in the lobby and the conference rooms during the wedding!
