Hey everyone! Welcome to our wedding website. Here you can find any wedding information that you may need. We are so excited to have you be apart of such a special day in our lives! Our Wedding

In 2020 Rachel and Spencer met in Portland, Maine. For their first date they walked around Portland’s Back Cove, just down the street from the neighborhood where they both lived. They talked and laughed for the next two hours, bonding over their love for adventures and how their vehicle choices couldn’t be any more opposite (Prius + 1978 Ford). Over the next few years they spent their free time hiking, camping, going to drive in movies and road tripping across the US while Rachel attended her clinical rotations. They eventually decided to make the move to Michigan, where there were more adventures, family get-togethers, and lots of laughs. In September 2022, the couple adopted their first dog named Spudnick. On May 6, 2023 Rachel and Spencer made a trip back to Maine, where Spencer orchestrated a crazy plan to propose to Rachel on their favorite hike, at the top of the mountain that over looked all their favorite places in Maine.

Airports

The wedding will be in Mears, MI near Silver Lake. Guests joining us from out-of-state might find it easiest to fly into Grand Rapids airport. (1.5 hrs from the wedding location). We recommend renting a car as Uber and Lyft are scarce in this area.

Summer is a busy time of the year at Silver Lake and surrounding areas. Due to this we have a hotel block at the Dunes Waterfront Resort.

If you wish to book through our room block you may do so by calling (231) 873-5500. The ONLY way to get the room block rate is to call the above number and let them know you are booking for the Scott/Norman wedding. You may also book a room outside of the room block. However, prices vary and may not be the same rate as the room block.
